  I was recommended Spectacles Direct a few years ago by a friend after being less than impressed with one of the big name opticians in Edinburgh. I now recommend the company to others in turn because of their terrific personal service, honest and caring advice and really wide range of glasses. I bought two pairs recently to replace my old Ray Bans (which got snapped in a freak accident with a rugby ball - don't ask!). This time around, I pushed the boat out and went for a pair of Tom Ford's for my 'dress glasses' when out on business appointments or social events and a really decent pair of budget glasses for everyday use. Really delighted with them. As an added point, the owner, David, seems to have put his heart and soul into the company to make sure everyone gets a first class experience. I always hesitate in giving 5 stars when reviewing any company, but I just can't fault this one. Well deserved and keep up the great work.
